Check back often for updated information on our artists and activities.
Contemporary fine craft is marked by innovation in design and materials. Accepted as an important art form, contemporary craft is marked by new interpretations of traditional technique and style. Studio craft artists continue to make objects by hand, beautiful pieces that can be utilitarian and are sold in galleries and at art fairs. These individuals have generally learned their skills in more formal educational settings – including studying, researching, and experimenting.
The Morning Glory Fine Craft Fair is held in downtown Milwaukee, along the scenic Riverwalk. Enjoy meeting, talking to, browsing and buying from more than 100 accomplished artists. Afterwards, take a stroll to nearby restaurants, shops, parks and the Milwaukee Art Museum along Lake Michigan.
